💰 Budget Engine
Every 20 min. Closes a money-losing campaign for the rest of today (budget → $1, not paused). Reopens overnight.
⏰ Dayparting
Every hour. Scales each bid by hour & weekday (e.g. ×0.30 = −70% at night).
🎯 Bid Optimizer
Daily. Recomputes each bid toward a target ACoS.

How to use this screen — recommended flow
  1. 1
Trigger a tick. Hit ▶ run optimizer (propose) at the top of the page. The optimizer evaluates every active keyword across the short / mid / long windows and writes one experiment row per target_id. Counters in the top toolbar update: proposed (bid would change), no_change (rule fired but kept current bid), rejected (cooldown / guardrail blocked).
  2. 2
Review the proposed rows. Default filter is proposed + undecided only. The rightmost Notes column explains exactly which sub-formula fired, which window(s), and which guards bound the result — same narrative as the Excel spec sheet. Skim Notes, then bulk-tick the checkboxes for the rows you trust.
  3. 3
Approve or reject the selection. ✓ approve selected stages the bids for live apply; ✗ reject selected marks them as operator-rejected (stays out of cooldown). Approving a row sets approved_at but does NOT push yet — the optimizer apply pass picks them up.
  4. 4
Push approved bids to Amazon. Hit ▲ apply approved at the top. Each row transitions proposed → applied as the connector confirms. An observation window opens (default 48h) — the optimizer then auto-evaluates ACoS post-change and writes concluded (kept) or reverted.
  5. 5
Periodically audit no_change. Switch the status filter to no_change to see every keyword the optimizer considered but did NOT act on — the Notes column tells you which gate held (MinClicks, CriticalCPC, ImpressionLimit, TOS share). If a large bucket of keywords keeps hitting the same gate, tune the matching slider on the configs sub-tab.
Tip: rejected rows are usually cooldown blocks — they auto-clear on the next eligible tick. You don't need to action them.
